Product feature and application
1. 1-Butanol CAS 71-36-3 is mainly used in the manufacture of phthalic acid, aliphatic dibasic acid and phosphoric acid n-butyl ester plasticizers, which are widely used in various plastic and rubber products. It is also the raw material for making butyraldehyde, butyric acid, butylamine and butyl lactate in organic synthesis. It can also be used as solvent and dewaxing agent for organic dyes and printing inks. As a solvent for the separation of potassium perchlorate and sodium perchlorate, sodium chloride and lithium chloride can also be separated.
2. Chromatographic analysis of standard substances. 1-Butanol CAS 71-36-3
is used for colorimetric determination of arsenate acid, separation of potassium, sodium, lithium, chlorate solvents.
3. 1-Butanol CAS 71-36-3 is used as an analytical reagent, such as a solvent, as a standard material for chromatographic analysis. It is also used in organic synthesis.

1-Butanol CAS 71-36-3 forms an azeotrope with water and is miscible with ethanol, ether and many other organic solvents. Soluble in alkaloids, camphor, dyes, rubber, ethyl cellulose, resinate (calcium salt, magnesium salt), oil, wax and a variety of natural and synthetic resins. Chemical properties and ethanol and propanol, with primary alcohol chemical reactivity.
Storage
